Bigfoot Bikes is a rider owned bike shop with a passion for all things cycling. Trading since 1998 our specialties are road, MTB and folding bikes, but we cater for cyclists of all levels of abilities. From leisure bikes for family rides around the park to custom machines to win races we can help.
The shop is also packed with every type of spares and accessories to keep your bike on the road and make cycling as enjoyable as possible. Our workshop offers a fast and flexible professional service, and we're happy to take on any job from pumping up tyres to a full strip down and rebuild.
The Bigfoot Bike Club is associated with the shop and has over 120 members. Rides vary from gentle family outings to all day epics, and when they aren't working the shop staff are usually out on the club runs.
We are based in Hayes just outside Bromley and only a few miles from Croydon. Pop in for a chat about bikes or take advantage of our mail order service.
Bigfoot Bikes Open Evening 25th June
The shop is having an open evening from 5 - 9 pm on Thursday 25th June to celebrate the handover of Bigfoot Bikes from Roger Sims to Rob Darling. It's an opportunity to not only meet the new owner, but also to voice opinions on what you would like from the shop, the club, what stock you'd like, any events you are interested in, etc. I will endeavour to push the business forward and create what the riders of the community want.
Also, as an added plus super bonus, all evening after 5pm any parts / accessories / energy supplements / anything that isn’t a bike bought or ordered that night will be 15% off, and any bike ordered for collection at any point until September will be 10% off (providing a 10% deposit is paid on the night and the balance is cleared before collection).

Koga Tesla Electric Bike - Demo Model For Sale
The idea of an electric bike is appealing for commuting and getting around town as they offer assistance getting up hills and can increase speeds even when heavily laden. However many bikes have been let down by a good motor being fitted onto a poor quality bike.
The Koga Tesla is an exception with a hand built frame and top quality components being combined with a powerful but still light motor system. The battery is integrated into the frame making the design look a lot sleeker than alternative makes.

Lance is back...

...and naturally he is riding a Trek. Lance Armstrong has announced his return to professional racing in a bid to win an eighth Tour de France. Armstrong says his main motive for coming out of retirement is his determination to carry his cancer fighting message around the world.
He will be riding for the Trek-sponsored Astana Pro Cycling Team which are equipped with Trek Madone and Madone TTX bikes for the coming season.

Although best known for their touring bikes Koga have a strong lineup of road and track bikes. They have now proved themselves at the highest level with Marianne Vos winning track cycling gold in the Points Race for the Netherlands at the Beijing Olympics.
